4th World Conference on Engineering Thermochemistry (WCETC 2026)

Deadline for abstract submission extended until 30 April 2026

Welcome to the 4th World Conference on Engineering Thermochemistry

We are pleased to announce the 4th World Conference on Engineering Thermochemistry (WCETC 2026), which will take place from July 19-22, 2026, at the University of Cambridge.

Thermochemistry plays a vital role in both contemporary academic research and industrial practice. Our conference provides an exciting opportunity for scientists from around the world to discuss new advancements in Engineering Thermochemistry.

This year, we have introduced new sessions dedicated to early-stage thermochemistry researchers to help them connect with experienced academics and industry colleagues, building networks that can support their career goals. We will also host a series of engaging plenary lectures by distinguished experts, as well as keynote talks by emerging and established leaders.

On behalf of the WCETC 2026 organising committee, we invite you to join us in the historic city of Cambridge and share your latest work.

In addition, the 5th Annual General Meeting of the World Society of Engineering Thermochemistry (WSETC) will take place at the same time. WSETC, registered in August 2022, is a not-for-profit organisation and network for researchers and professionals in engineering thermochemistry. It has the breadth of resources and expertise you need, whether you are in the core thermochemistry industries or in emerging areas.

We hope you will join us at WCETC 2026.

Prof. Ewa Marek

Chair of WCETC 2026
